Growing Tips (For Onion Bulb Sets):
If you wish to grow onions, plant onion sets in early spring (March–April) when the soil can be worked and temperatures stay above 28°F. Bury bulbs 1–2 inches deep, spaced 2–6 inches apart, with rows 12–18 inches apart. Use mulch to retain moisture and reduce weeds. Provide about 1 inch of water weekly, more if you prefer sweeter onions.
