Small, pointed pods grow upright like Thai chilies and mature through a vivid color sequence from deep purple to yellow to bright red. Heat level is mild to medium (about 2,500–5,000 Scoville units), perfect for fresh salsas, pickling, garnishes, or adding color to the garden.

How to grow:
Start seeds indoors 8–10 weeks before the last expected frost. Maintain soil temperature between 75–85°F for best germination and keep the seed mix evenly moist but not waterlogged. Transplant outdoors after all danger of frost when nights stay consistently warm. Plant in full sun (6–8 hours daily) in well-draining soil with a pH near 6.0–7.0. Space plants 12–18 inches apart to allow airflow. Use a balanced fertilizer at planting and side-dress as plants set fruit. Water regularly, letting the top inch of soil dry between waterings; reduce water slightly as fruit ripens to concentrate flavor. Support is optional; stakes can help keep upright habit tidy. Harvest pods at desired color stage; leaves and fruit add strong ornamental value to beds, containers, and edible landscaping.
