Thai Basil 'Sweet Large Leaf' seeds — 2000 count. This heirloom-style basil produces large tender green leaves, purple stems and deep purple flower spikes. It delivers a strong, sweet anise/licorice flavor with a mild spice that holds up in cooking, ideal for Thai curries, stir-fries, Pho, soups and garnishes. Plants reach about 1–2 ft tall and mature in 60–90 days. Seeds are best sown in full sun with moist, well-drained soil; tolerant of heat but sensitive to frost.

How to grow: Sow seeds outdoors after last frost or start indoors 4–6 weeks earlier. Press seeds lightly into soil 1/8 inch deep. Keep soil 70–85°F for fastest germination (7–14 days). Space plants 6–10 inches apart, water regularly but avoid waterlogged roots, and pinch flowering tips to encourage bushy, leafier growth. Provide good airflow to reduce mildew; watch for aphids and treat with insecticidal soap if needed.
